(no subject)
Feb. 6th, 2006 06:08 pmMust be Monday Blues. I'm feeling so damn tired after the weekends. Man, I miss the weekends.
I've kinda decided already. It's 70% Poly choice for me. I really don't see the point in JC anymore. I mean, mugging the same old subjects for two years just to prepare for A levels. Then what next if you can't get a decent grade for the As?
I know my parents won't be happy about this, but really. There's no shame in going to Poly even if I come from some top school. Is it really a top school? Life was so damn boring and pointless. Are the teachers really better in elite schools than neighbourhood schools? I don't know.
My mom thinks that it's easier for you to get a job if you've gone through University because it means you're intelligent and can pick up skills quickly.
Well, I'd rather pick up working skills NOW than to struggle with finding jobs later.
Any second, opposing voice, anyone?

PS: Wheeeee...GenX is big love ahaha. There's much drama going around right now. I'm contemplating whether I should let Ming Ming strangle King and get hantam-ed by Brooklyn. I'm contemplating whether I should pick up a second character at Crack Beyblade as well. Yay for RPs. And I haven't done my Maths homework yet.
You know, I'm actually kinda looking forward to getting my Os results as soon as possible. So that I can get out of JCs quickly.
Whatever it is, I'm prepared for a cold war in case my parents oppose to my going to Poly. I'm sorry, but really I'm sure there's much more to education than just memory work, writing essays, or running 5 rounds around the track.
