I'm not really going to bother with this any longer but-just to finish that thought. Someone like Edea wouldn't actually be the one doing anything. I mean, she could mindscrew people with her powers to do stuff for her, and that might somehow slip past the gods. And then those who actually do the stuff will get punished even though they do it "for Edea".

And, as always, having actual plot involves letting plot happen, so if we said the gods aren't paying attention to that or think that "lol, let's see what happens if we let her keep going", that would get things going. If it's always "that isn't possible" and "that isn't allowed" and "you can't do that", no wonder things are dead, you know?

But eh, I'm not apping Edea anymore now, at least I don't think I want to. Sooo whatever.
