Only a few days previous he had given up his named but the at moment Shin didn't care as he stepped up the stairway, glancing around. This was the place alright, not that he really cared. They would bring him power, and that's all that mattered. That was something his family could never bring him. Snorting slightly Shin glanced around, stepping into a training area and dumping his bag on the ground. Where was everyone?
A single figure shifted, red eyes peering down through the tinted lenses of his sunglasses as he regarded the surprise visitor curiously. Now this was certainly something out of the ordinary, a lone kid loitering around in the territories of the Parts Hunters. Must be someone very brave, or very stupid, or even both.
He barely masked his yawn, hopping off his hiding place and landing in front of the teen, looking at him, "Hey there. Lost, you little lamb?"
Shin just gave him a cool glance in return, studying him for a moment. "I've come to see Doctor Sirlis," he told the other calmly.
"Ooooh," he gave a smile of mock courtesy and interest, "And what makes you think he'll come and see you?"
Shin gave a tired yawn, shoving a letter into the other's hand. "Because he sent for me, now get out of my way." Crimson eyes regarded the other coldly.
He merely gave a loud cackle at that, his attention piqued by the fact that Dr Sirlis had actually personally invited this boy into his army of Parts Hunters. "Interesting, very interesting!!" he laughed loudly as he clapped, giving the teen one last lookover, "You don't look like much, but you must really be worth something if Dr Sirlis really did it!!"
"Mao," a voice echoed sternly, "Shut up and go back to training. The boy's right, the doctor did send for him."
Regarding the other just as coldly Shin glowered for a moment at the source of the new voice. "Are you going to tell me where he is or are you just going to stand around and gawk?"
"He's not going to come to you, you know," the girl rolled her eyes impatiently, "Now, just try and keep up." She turned, ignoring Mao as he whined about not being able to tease the newcomer and test his strength, entering a shabby building.
Shin didn't say a word as he walked in silence, not bothering to look at the two except to send them both the worst death glares he could muster. They were beneath him and they would soon learn their places if he had anything to do with it.
They made their way past numerous beyblade dishes, all filled to the brim with kids aiming to become members of Dr Sirlis' army, trying to knock out their opponents in a Battle Royale type of deathmatch. Mao was obviously more interested in watching the "wannabes" batter each other apart as he strayed away from the group and never rejoined with them.
The girl soon reached a door, motioning for Shin to enter without even glancing at him.
Shin stepped in as he glanced around, his eyes finally falling on the man before him.
The girl had stepped in as well, closing the door behind her as her green eyes fell on Dr Sirlis. She had not been particularly thrilled to hear of the doctor's plans to include a descendant of the Blade Breakers into them, but whatever she said, the stupid old man took no notice.
Shin stood there, eying him for a moment. "I recieved your letter."
The girl crossed her arms, obviously not liking Shin one bit. If he really thought he was going to make it big in here, he had another thing coming .
