Re: JC classmates
I actually explored a blog outside of LJ!! =O
Came across a classmate's blog and read about said-classmate's most recent entry about our class. To tell the truth, that was the first time when I started thinking back on my what little interactions with my JC class.
My Upper Sec class sucked. That lousy bolded and italized description should tell you how much love I have for them. I can't remember any other group of people that pissed me off so much to the extent that I started playing truant just to avoid both the stress from school and all the people there. ._. So, I guess my JC class was kind of a refreshing change for me. It's true that we're not a close class, but I certainly didn't mind being with most of the people in my JC class.
Maybe I don't mix around much with school people, so I'm spared from class politics and silly rumours. But the way I see it, the JC class isn't so bad really. We don't OPENLY backstab and talk rubbish about others for one. Most of us are civil to each other as well. And it most certainly didn't have guys that stank like hell after playing football during breaks. =P
Maa, due to certain factors and my own stupidity, I entered the JC class late. ._.";;; And by then, most people had already formed their own cliques and all. Even so, I found my own group of friends that I truly felt comfortable talking to, a group of at least 3 people ahahaha. XDD Might seem like a measly number at first, but when you compare that to the grand total of 2 in Upper Sec, it's definitely a sort of improvement for me.
I'm no good at all in talking to people, and making friends is difficult for me seriously. I'm the kind that can stay in the same room as an acquaintance and keep quiet for hours, which makes me a minority in a school society that deems talking a necessity. =o But, so what? Not everyone is the same, and definitely not everyone is born with an addiction to talking. For me, it's so much more fun observing people from a distance, and take in all their little quirks and habits. I might not talk to most people, but I probably know quite a lot about them, very likely even more than what they know about me. ;)
The JC class certainly isn't very united, I admit. In fact, they're not very memorable for me. .___.";;; My Lower Sec class holds the record for being the most memorable bunch, for the info. ♥ Then again, they don't hold a lot of bad memories for me either. What matters to me in the end, is the friends that I made in the school and outside, not just in class. What people think of me, I care not. Whether people think it uncool to mix with me, that's not my problem either. I'm a weirdo? Think what they like. I probably don't care much for them either.
The JC class. I can't say I love them, save for a select few. But I don't hate them either. I guess my mindset is that, I come to school for education and not to socialise. Might seem pretty sad at first, but when I make friends, I make sure the friendship lasts. =) I still keep in touch with several close friends from school, with the exception of Yue from Lower Sec [I was the one who broke the friendship. I was such a stupid and immature idiot then. =(] and Celine from Upper Sec [I lost her number!! And she barely comes online in the first place. x_X].
Too long? No cut for you. >O give your finger exercise and scroll past the entry then.
Sad!Shirley icon because it was really the "best" icon for the mood of this post.
Oh a totally unrelated note, my costume is done. :) ♥ HAHAHAHAHAHA. This sure spoils the whole mood of the post, doesn't it.

I'm was like that for most of my life and I believe that to some extent I still am quite like that...In primary and secondary school, I was the shy/quiet girl in the 'popular'/gossipy class. Even now, my friends are mostly from outside my uni *coughfandom* those who happen to be in my uni were met via online means lol
But I've come to learn that just because you don't have friends in your class or course does not mean that you don't have friends at all ^_^ Outside school friends are still friends no?
