Gundam 00: Self-speculation

I do this a lot for the other series, but I don't really post them. But for g00, I'm going to make an exception for g00 this time because Sunrise has been really unpredictable with g00 this time round. X_X

-Episode 16: For the recaps section, Alejandro Corner was discussing past events with other observers. It was through here that we realise that the observers have the ability to vote on decisions that will affect Celestial Being.

-The observers have accepted the Trinity Gundams for now, and the Trinity Gundams are acting like comrades with the 4 Meisters right now.

-However, in the opening, the 4 Meisters are depicted to be fighting against the Trinity.

-2 possible reasons. First, the whole scene was done to confuse the audience into thinking that the Trinity is an enemy arm by the 3 Powers of Union, HRL and AEU [which is not the case as we've seen in the earlier part of episode 16].

-Second reason? The observers may eventually vote for the 4 Meisters to be disposed of [due to mission failure??] and thus the Trinity team is sent to bring the 4 Meisters down. Or maybe the disposal of the 4 Meisters are already written in Veda's plans and hidden from Tieria, which would explain why he doesn't know of the Trinity's existence as well.

-Result? The 4 Meisters are on the run from Celestial Being.

Just something that I randomly thought up of during work. o_o I'm not sure if I'm really reading too much into the whole OP scene, since there really wasn't anything in the first OP that gave away plot. I think my whole experience with the Code Geass OPs have led me to believe that Sunrise may truly be hiding stuff in the OPs. xD

Times like this, I wish there were more g00 fanpeople on my f-list. xD" Discuss with me please? D:

I vote that Veda plans to dispose of the 4 Meisters, because in my mind Veda Is EVILLL! and I think it would be a lovely and twisty thing for Veda to decide to do.

It would be even lovelier if, at the climax, the Trinity decide to turn against Veda and not kill the Meisters after all. And then they all gang up to destroy the CB apparatus...

I won't be surprised if there are more Meisters and Gundams hiding around, waiting for the right moment to strike...

The truth behind that dead guy will probably reveal everything... haha seems like everything nowadays want to have an aura of mystery (like in Code Geass for example)

i think you've lost me completely ._. ahh, if only i could watch goo episodes, then i'd have an idea of what you're talking about ^ ^;;;

I love gundam wing, and am interested in seeing gundam seed (just haven't gotten around to it) so that chances of being interested in g00 are quite high ^ ^

Cool theories you have there. :3 I'm still reserving my judgement on the Trinity trio. They seem likeable for now (except Michael), but their more "cold-blooded" methods are going to clash with the Meisters, that's for sure.

After seeing the Observers' discussion in Episode 16, it's obvious the Meisters have fallen out of favour with them. Allelujah and Setsuna are on the verge of being expelled. Even Tieria might be on shaky ground.

I think the Meisters might grudgingly work with Trinity for a while, but I'm pretty sure they'll start to rebel and question CB's directives, especially when there is now a more blatant disregard for human lives. Then the Meisters will disobey orders and be voted as unsuitable by Veda.

It'll be an awesome twist if Veda turns out to be evil and orders for them (yes, Tieria too!OMG) to be "disposed" of by Trinity. XD Hopefully then, Tieria will start thinking for himself and his Meister comrades, instead of his blind devotion to Veda.

Then it might be the four of them (plus the Ptolemaois crew and Wang Liu Min) vs. CB and the Thrones. Who knows, the rebel Gundam group might even work together with Union or HRL to fight against the now evil CB. Everything is still unpredictable at this point. XD

But still, it would be nice if Trinity aren't really bad guys in the end. I kinda like Johann's character...but if they're going to turn out to be evil, hopefully it'll be done well. ^_^

Me and my friend have been speculating ever since we first saw Trinity and we, too, think that they're supposed to dispose of the Meisters because VEDA IS EVIL, YES (ahem)... and they'll end up fighting them, and maybe turn good eventually... who knows. And yes, Code Geass has taught us that... anything can happen, really. (Euphienator!)

Tieria is already having a minor freakout since Veda didn't tell him about the new pilots... imagine his reaction when he realizes Veda-mommy doesn't love him anymore.

He'll be IN DESPAIR!

But more crying!Tieria is good anyway.. he's pretty when he's not bitching at people.
