Gundam 00: Self-speculation

I do this a lot for the other series, but I don't really post them. But for g00, I'm going to make an exception for g00 this time because Sunrise has been really unpredictable with g00 this time round. X_X

-Episode 16: For the recaps section, Alejandro Corner was discussing past events with other observers. It was through here that we realise that the observers have the ability to vote on decisions that will affect Celestial Being.

-The observers have accepted the Trinity Gundams for now, and the Trinity Gundams are acting like comrades with the 4 Meisters right now.

-However, in the opening, the 4 Meisters are depicted to be fighting against the Trinity.

-2 possible reasons. First, the whole scene was done to confuse the audience into thinking that the Trinity is an enemy arm by the 3 Powers of Union, HRL and AEU [which is not the case as we've seen in the earlier part of episode 16].

-Second reason? The observers may eventually vote for the 4 Meisters to be disposed of [due to mission failure??] and thus the Trinity team is sent to bring the 4 Meisters down. Or maybe the disposal of the 4 Meisters are already written in Veda's plans and hidden from Tieria, which would explain why he doesn't know of the Trinity's existence as well.

-Result? The 4 Meisters are on the run from Celestial Being.

Just something that I randomly thought up of during work. o_o I'm not sure if I'm really reading too much into the whole OP scene, since there really wasn't anything in the first OP that gave away plot. I think my whole experience with the Code Geass OPs have led me to believe that Sunrise may truly be hiding stuff in the OPs. xD

Times like this, I wish there were more g00 fanpeople on my f-list. xD" Discuss with me please? D:

That's exactly it! Tieria will be heartbroken. Actually, they all might be, since all the 4 Meisters really don't have anything left except their existence in Celestial Being. Welllll, except for Setsuna. Because he has Marina. But all the other 3 are pretty much alone.

I think it's really interesting that Veda picked 4 (AFAIK) orphans to be its Meisters (although this is a recurring trope in Gundam series? I really have no idea). On the other hand, the Trinity pilots are a family... I like the contrast there.
