I went to buy 1/144 Trans-Am Kyrios a few days ago. First, I was in Chinatown, and it was like... $20. And I'm thinking, wth, 1/144 is usually like $15. Lame. So then I go to Image Anime and it's $27 there. WHAT. THE SHIT. $27 FOR A 1/144?!

WHAT IS WITH SPARKLES MAKING THE COST OF GUNPLA DOUBLED

LMAO yeah :| Same for the Transam Raiser I'm aiming for, but it's like 2000Y [compared to Drei which is like 1600Y]. I GUESS IT'S THE EXCHANGE RATE AND IMPORT FEES MAKING EVERYTHING EXTRA EXPENSIVE.

I don't feel like going to Chinatown again (and they didn't have Dynames too anyway), so I'm going to wait till Anime Boston and scour around there and try to find the cheapest one.

The only time I ever got lucky with those random boxes was when I bought like the entire carton of i-dolls at Otakon last year. And that is because, I believe, the carton seems to come with at least one of each.

...what I honestly might do is just buy a carton and sit by the table and sell off the rest :| They're like five of them, right? I think the carton came with ten, so, two of each.

Markup their prices and sell them. 8D Especially the Tierias.

I ended up with like...two Tierias and two Grahams and no Allelujahs in the carton I got (also got the others). So I sold a Tieria and traded a Graham for the Allelujah that Nui happened to get. Lmfao.
