Lmao, I wish SIM would give some sort of heads up as to when I can expect exam results, not that I'm eager to see them. >_____> But I'm looking for a part-time job at the moment, and a lot of these jobs require the person to commit for a certain number of months. :S And I can't commit until I know if I have to retake classes because I'm sort of expecting myself to fail some of those classes. OTL";

Otherwise, I'm sort of tempted to do this taxi surveyor thing. I don't think it pays a lot because apparently you don't have to do a lot plus there aren't a lot of workdays in a month, and it's probably not a good job, but I don't see anything about having to commit or stuff.

Sigh.

How do I write a resume? T_T *searches online*

EDIT:
I miss my speakers. ;_; I don't like wearing earphones to listen to stuff on my computer, and one of my ear has gone slightly...numb-ish, if that's the word. It's like you feel like one ear is stuck, but no matter what you do the sensation won't go away. .___.

Well, I'll worry about resumes later. I think I'm going to do that taxi surveyor thing lmao. *makes a note to call the person later*

If your school has online resources, go check there first. Sometimes they offer online tutorials on how to write a resume compared to googling it alone orz

Hm, I see a Free Resume Review link... ;-; Other than that, I haven't found any tutorials yet. *keeps looking*

Try this. (http://www.rockportinstitute.com/resumes.html) Got it typing off keywords on Firefox. xD

In my school a class about learning to write them and other shit is required Dx

[identity profile] ratiosu.livejournal.com 2009-05-17 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
;_; I think at school, I wouldn't have paid attention because I tell myself I will worry about this later/it's too soon to think about jobs/they always say the same things, but right now, a class like that sounds really helpful.

If you need any drop me a line bc I had to write like 5

OTL Writing resumes must be worse than applications for scholarships and school trips; it's difficult enough detailing why you want a scholarship, selling yourself on a piece of paper sounds downright traumatising. DX

On a completely unrelated note, the way SIM students flood up the bus is scary. .___. But still less scary than the students at Ngee Ann Poly.

And I am evilly amused at the "free sex service + hp no" stamp all over the pillars at the SIM bus stop. XD;

[identity profile] ratiosu.livejournal.com 2009-05-17 07:50 am (UTC)(link)
Lmao yeah. .____. If there's one thing I really dislike, it's these applications which make you explain WHY YOU DESERVE THIS SCHOLARSHIP/JOB. And if you don't do it well, it could cost you a shot at an interview. Nrgh. ~_~

ROFL (: Rush hour bus rides are the ~best~. I take 154 home to Boon Lay, so my bus arrives after stopping at NP first. And if I'm unlucky, the 154 is a single-deck bus which occurs 80% of the time >_>"; and is already full up with NP students. Let's wait for another 154 which takes forever. 8D

...and I've never saw that stickers before, but XDDDDDD Reminds me of random vandalism on buses. My friend saw one which went something like:

cock length: -some number- inches <- so small...

I mean- why you want the scholarship? How about not having to pay money for your education?! -_- Or that it looks good on your resume?! Sheesh. Why you deserve the scholarship is at least easier to write. XD;

Ah, I think I take the bus in the opposite direction then? Get off 74 at SIM then change bus, passing by NP one stop down. NP is... scary. This HUGE mass of students boarding the bus; usually about 20-odd people. o_o Hurhurhur.

Maybe cuz it's on the bus stop you usually go to? Like those exam stamps that students get with their name and candidate number so they don't have to waste time writing. XD Just that this one reads "free sex service" and a name plus hp number, literally stamped all over the white pillars. XD;

....waow. XD The things people do = fail!win. I think I saw something like that before too.
