HAHA ALVAARON
Seeing the MS at the top of NK's blog made me grin for some reason. XD Regular isn't shinyyyy.
Finally starting work on Drei now, it's the third day today so all I have left are Drei's shields and the entire backpack. I hope I can finish them tonight and then spend tomorrow either drawing or doing notes lalala.
I just returned from a...walk. I can't call it a jog because I walked for the majority of the distance, but it feels good to get SOME form of exercise ahaha. The sun was intense but now it's really cloudy lol.
Not much happened today. ♥ It's a calm day.

Drei's coming along pretty good! I'm still working on the backpack, so I can't tell you how stable it is yet. As for other areas, my only gripe is TOO MANY STICKERS. If you're going to be painting your kit, there's going to be a lot of work because
1. Stickers galore on the Stealth Field bits. ._o"; The Stealth Field vent directly on its right shoulder requires this huge sticker. I couldn't put it right so the sticker looks pretty awful lmao. Speaking of that particular vent, the cover of the vents doesn't actually open ahaha. If you want to 'open' the vent, you simply replace it with another part from the runner.
2. Backpack vents are molded in one single colour, so there're huge surfaces to be painted.
3. Lower arms are molded in single colour also, so the white parts of the arms will need to be coloured if you paint your kit.
Otherwise, I had a lot of fun assembling Drei. :D The limbs are actually much more simplified compared to Exia R2 and 00's. The clearest examples would be in the legs - Drei only has Upper Leg and Lower Leg [rather than Upper Leg, Knee, Lower Leg] so the legs actually took me less time than with Exia R2. I completed the main Gundam [minus the weapons] pretty quick too. Then again, I only did panel lining, and no painting. xD";
EDIT:
Yay, I just completed Drei. \o/ I've recorded some of my thoughts in the progress of building Drei, as well as some notes about the backpack in here (http://community.livejournal.com/brb_soup/8889.html). Slight warning for messiness. I didn't organize it ahaha.
I'm not actually sure if that's the info which you wanted, but in any case, if you still have questions, feel free to ask. xD

Oooh, thanks so much for the link! It's incredibly useful to me, especially the colour bit! I wasn't sure whether it was light red or dark red, but seeing that it's a nice shade...I'm buying it, yay. Also, the Throne's configuration doesn't really need knees, it's one huge leg, so yeah. I guess I'm going to
butcherpaint the vents/wings/whatever.Thanks again, you're much better than dalong, hahah.

Good luck with the painting! There's really a LOOOT of parts to paint. x_o"; And yeah, IRL Drei's colours are darker than the anime colour scheme, but I'm not complaining. I really think it looks better with slightly darker colours ahaha.
And you're welcome. xD Glad to know that it was helpful!
