Your result for The Quick & Painless ENNEAGRAM Test...

9 - the Peacemaker

Thanks for taking the test !

you chose BX - your Enneagram type is NINE (aka "The Mediator")

"I am at peace"

Peacemakers are receptive, good-natured, and supportive. They seek union with others and the world around them.

How to Get Along with Me

• If you want me to do something, how you ask is important. I especially don't like expectations or pressure.

• I like to listen and to be of service, but don't take advantage of this.

• Listen until I finish speaking, even though I meander a bit.

• Give me time to finish things and make decisions. It's OK to nudge me gently and nonjudgmentally.

• Ask me questions to help me get clear.

• Tell me when you like how I look. I'm not averse to flattery.

• Hug me, show physical affection. It opens me up to my feelings.

• I like a good discussion but not a confrontation.

• Let me know you like what I've done or said.

• Laugh with me and share in my enjoyment of life.

What I Like About Being a NINE

• being nonjudgmental and accepting

• caring for and being concerned about others

• being able to relax and have a good time

• knowing that most people enjoy my company; I'm easy to be around

• my ability to see many different sides of an issue and to be a good mediator and facilitator

• my heightened awareness of sensations, aesthetics, and the here and now

• being able to go with the flow and feel one with the universe

What's Hard About Being a NINE

• being judged and misunderstood for being placid and/or indecisive

• being critical of myself for lacking initiative and discipline

• being too sensitive to criticism; taking every raised eyebrow and twitch of the mouth personally

• being confused about what I really want

• caring too much about what others will think of me

• not being listened to or taken seriously

NINEs as Children Often

• feel ignored and that their wants, opinions, and feelings are unimportant

• tune out a lot, especially when others argue

• are "good" children: deny anger or keep it to themselves

NINEs as Parents

• are supportive, kind, and warm

• are sometimes overly permissive or nondirective

EDIT:
An actual entry oh shit.

I AM NOW AFRAID OF BUNS FOREVER. My Mom tried to make me eat two, and I bit into the first one and I was like "DNW". Can you tell I'm a picky eater yet? And my Mom was wondering about my reaction and went to check the bun lmao.

She found a whole toothpick inside the bun. o_O

I didn't bite the toothpick haha; I was gagging over the taste because the bun tasted different from what I'm usually used to. But after she found the toothpick, I just lost my appetite entirely lmao.

She went to check the other buns she steamed, and the bun I bit into was the only one with the toothpick. -A- I was saved by my picky eating habits...?

Man, I have lessons later. The traffic is terrible in the evening - the jam stretches from Jurong all the way to SIM in Clementi and probably extends to Bukit Timah etc. Traffic jams + lots of moving and stopping and moving and stopping = carsick lol. D:

I gotta remember to print notes for the subject later.

Toothpick? o__o What does your mom use the toothpick for, as in the bun before it's steamed?? orz

[identity profile] ratiosu.livejournal.com 2009-08-13 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
It wasn't ours. Someone left it inside the bun while the bun was being made.

You know how people sometimes find insects or other non-food items inside their food? Yeah, something like that.

Ahh D: That's weird and rude of someone. I only remember toothpicks being used to check if a food is cooked well enough.

It's less rude and more of a safety concern. My mom was pretty worried about the buns she sent to my grandmother's place because I have kid cousins. If a kid bit into the bun and swallowed the toothpick, he could be seriously injured.

jlsdkjg sexual innuendo aside, we're clones, same and yet different. 8)

It was scary. Funny thing is I didn't even notice it. xD"; My Mom kept spazzing and asking if I swallowed anything lmao.

*is scared of biting into buns now*... I'll remember to take small small bites >__<

I hope it was an accident and not intentional.. I remember hearing rumours of ppl putting needles in Halloween candy for the evulz...

[identity profile] ratiosu.livejournal.com 2009-08-14 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
It's probably an accident, but still, more could have been done to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't happen. ): And ffff those rumours are scary. x_X I hate to think of the consequences if those are true.
