There's a giant moth in the house. O_O It's slightly bigger than my palm.

Dad said not to disturb it, because, you know, Hungry Ghost Month and all, but I hope it flies out soon. OTL If it stays inside the house, it'll die before morning comes.

I looked up what Hungry Ghost Month is but I couldn't find anything about moths and such. Would getting it into a cup and putting it outside be ok, or no? :(

Yeah, it IS pretty. It looked a little like a butterfly even. xD

Well, moths are believed to embody spirits of dead people lmao, so disturbing one during Hungry Ghost Month is said to bring bad luck or something. x_X It's gone now though, don't know if it died or managed to fly out.

...duhrrrrrrr. I remember hearing that about butterflies. But for some reason it...didn't click that it would likely also extend to moths. 8| That makes sense though.
