Idk man, S1 girls had tons of figures. I think the only ones without any were Kinue, Shirin and Louise's mum. And that says something. My guess is that they think only SD boy figures appeal to girls and the kits appeal to boys, which is retarded. Oh, and Desu, who got two figures, but..really. Wish she had a different pose, I might have bought one.

I wish I knew what Bandai was thinking. B| But your guess might actually be applicable to Japan, which meant that the Portrait figurines didn't do as well as they expected so they scrapped it and concentrated on other things. ~~Like the many, many versions of 00 Raiser, the 1/100 Designer Colors that are going to be released as normal items instead of limited items and the 1/144 Trans-Am versions of the S1 kits.~~

It's still quite unfair. But I guess 00 was lucky compared to ZZ (a UC series nonetheless) which got, like two figures for two characters. (Lacus is in every figurine set. ;_; And I used to buy my figurines in sets, so I accumulated an army of Lacus as a result.) If you like, I could check it again xD If I remember correctly, she probably isn't too loved or anything - I have Cagalli from the same set and she's quite beaten up though. >_> So yeah.

People didn't fully understand the power of figurines back then. And oh my god, the normal 00 Raiser + GN Sword III, I shook my head when I saw the news on NK. .__. inb4 it's not designer colors so it gives Bandai a reason to release yet another one. The pics on NK are kind of LQ, but it doesn't look like designer colors to me. I don't know.

(Lmao, I noticed that too. And, truth be told, I don't like her, at least from the first 15 or so episodes of SEED I've seen. She's too much of a fairy for me. Sure, she has had a pretty badass scene where she commands Rau to stop fighting, but I'd rather she weren't so sugary sweet all the time. And I swear, Pink-chan has got Tourettes.) And yeah, I wasn't very enamoured with Fllay, but looking back now, she's actually really well done. And people draw parallels between Kira/Fllay and Saji/Louise. I once saw a secret that said that Saji/Louise was Kira/Fllay done right. ~~It's also the same one that said it didn't care for the mecha, and caused a storm in /m/ as a result. xD~~

More grunt mechs please. ;___; ANFs, Fantons, Katharon Color mechs, even the 00V suits could use some love. Only Avalanche Exia made it into kits.

But what am I going to do with all those figureeesss. Ugh, I hate it when that happens. Maybe you should try some forums? Mechatalk has got a subforum dedicated to sales and stuff. The Wing parallel I understand, even though the fact that some people actually believe 00 is a remake of AC enrages me to no end. But Marina/Macross? RIDICULOUS. She sang with and for a bunch of orphans in the middle of the war to calm them down and then the song spread on the radio without anyone knowing who she was. I don't see Marina having concerts and becoming famous. In that post-series untranslated interview (damn it), the staff specifically said they didn't want Marina to be portrayed as a singer from SEED or Macross. Damn it, fandumb, damn it.

Yeah, I think people's interest in GS/GSD are dying. Until that movie that they keep saying will be released is finally on screen and revives people's interest. I regret buying them in sets now lol, but knowing my luck, I wouldn't have gotten the figurines I wanted, and eBay's prices are big. And yeah, I was considering Hardwarezone, but I'm so lazy and I don't have a good camera to take pics of the stuff I want to sell. xD Aliens in the movie + singer = ~MACROSS CLEARLY~. Well, the shows are already about seven years old, right? Although there are FAR older fandoms, I don't think the LJ one is that focused on mechs, battles and politics. I remember reading a secret on FSecrets a while ago about the fandom not writing about the Natural-Coordinator problems. I guess we're luckier for having 00_resource, since we can discuss about other things than kawaii bishies desu ne and shipping shipping shipping. I kind of feel sorry for CE fans. I mean, they were promised a movie and the movie isn't coming...Us AD fans are quite pampered. Yeah, I kind of regret buying them in sets too, but this was the only way I could get my hands on a Kamille figure, for example. I want to smack myself for assembling them and not keeping the boxes though. I actually took pics a couple of months ago, lmao. And then proceeded to forget about them augh. GOD DAMN IT NOW I WANT ALIENS. There, I said it. I'm 90% sure there won't be any, but just to piss off the older Gundam fans. Aliens? In ~my~ Gundam? Blasphemy! And then they complain about reused tropes and kiss Turn A's ass for being ~different~. I still don't understand why the few translators we have didn't organise themselves in order to get a certain part of the interview and translate it.
