"Saji Crossroad."
"Yep! You remembered my name."
"Who is he?"
"My neighbour! He's called...erm..."
"... >>>>>:| Setsuna F. Seiei."
I forgot how sleek and smooth Exia's movements were. *rewatching parts of S1* I rewatched the 'vs Enact Demo Colors' scene several times just so I could watch Exia retract its GN Sword. *drools*
At first, I was reading a review on MG Exia. XD; Some people noted that while it's very cool and photogenic when it comes to dynamic in-air poses, there're not many action poses you can do with Exia standing on the ground because its ankles and legs are too free-moving. All the free-style poses from this review made me recall how cool Exia was, slicing and dicing its opponents while avoiding enemy fire.
One of my friends remarked, long time ago, that Exia gave off a very 'teenage boy' vibe. :'D Not too surprising since Exia's pilot WAS a teenage boy. And rewatching the Ceylon battle in episode 2, I have to agree - Exia was all "ATTACK FIRST, THINK LATER".
I think I'm going to watch all the battle scenes in the whole series.
Do check out the review by the way. There're some not very flattering, but justified, things that were said about the kit, but it's a generally positive review. Plus the comic at the end is a riot. XD I should look for an equally comprehensive review for PG Astray Red Frame.
Some weeks (?) to go till SE1. \o/
EDIT:
Hey look, it's my journal namesake 8D
EDIT:
I was wondering what exactly was so special about MG Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise. And then I took a closer look and realised that the backpack is actually the giant sword. O__O
I don't know the series. But I kind of want it. *RESISTS THE POISON*If this Gundam gets animated, I AM DEAD FOR SURE.

Exia's got finesse -- he doesn't run/stomp towards an enemy to hack-and-slash it, but he ~glides~, giving him that certain mystique that mecha doesn't usually have. |3~♥

And same. One reason why I'm not completely sold on Quanta having Funnels is because Setsuna's style is more hack and slash melee, and 00 Raiser, for all its beam spams, kept it to an extent, with Transam Raiser. Something about using Funnels to take out the other opponents while the Gundam itself focuses on a small number of enemies doesn't appeal to me as much. Maybe I'm just afraid that Setsuna+Quanta will end up like Kira+Strike Freedom and Michael+Throne Zwei. XD;

Someone once mentioned that Setsuna could use the funnels (bits? fangs?) the way he used his swords in S1, i.e., instead of lolthrowing them at the enemy, he'd be able to take them back. I'd be fine with them, as long as the design looks cool and they don't do all the job for Setsuna.

Ohh...that's a possibility. Also lmao, that reminded me of the way Setsuna threw his swords at Zwei's Fangs. So much cooler than LOLHUGEBEAMOFDOOM. And more sleek Exia movements, oh myyy. *____* Incidentally,

Ohh I remember that part. I wonder if Tieria went back to retrieve all of Virtue's armour after his two battles with Nadleeh. xDDD

I don't usually like melee, but Exia is so awesome. It's so sleek and agile compared to most other main Gundams (including 00). And of course fluid andd HD animation helps *__*
wow that sword is HUUUGGGEE (yay anime physics!! XD). Actually Astray Blue Frame has been animated (into a 5min OVA XD): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pGK1QILwC8 (Red frame has been animated as well)

Yes, definitely!! Plus Exia's design is pretty original. The HUGE GN Sword and the way he uses it had me sold too. *O*
Ahhh Astray Blue Frame. *A* The transformation of the backpack into the giant sword is less fluid than I would have liked, but still cool nonetheless. Also reminds me of how pretty SEED's character designs were. XD I miss those uniforms!!
