Someone's opinion: If the world is screwed up, it's because of homophobes like you, not because of gays and lesbians who haven't done anything to hurt others.

Ok ok, so they're just 8 - 14/15 year olds but damn, when I was 14, I was already dabbling in yaoi!! But look, a lot of people are just condemning it for the reason that it's gross. Yo? What defines as GROSS? I'm not going to drag religion in here, it's too messy and I don't know enough to say anything to do with religion.
Then there's still that shit about Singapore still being a conservative Asian society. True, I agree it's that, but Singapore's also trying to move towards being a global city that welcomes everyone and anyone who can contribute. If people won't stop and be at least a bit more open-minded [we have xenophobes and homophobes hooray!!], how will we succeed in creating such a city?
Really, I haven't seen much of XiLeRO's forums, but from what I've seen so far, that game's forum is a LOT neater and makes a LOT more sense than Maple's.
It scares me to think that among those 8-14/15 year olds, some of them could be our future leaders. Will their mindsets change by then? For the good of Singapore, I really REALLY hope so.

Meh, I think all it takes to change their mindsets is the media. Just get them to put homosexual people in a good light and wait a few years. Bam! Gays are all ok.

The one subject I can rant about and I just don't have time, dammit. >< But, I will say this: Religion? Freaks. No offense to religions, but the homophobes that say "it's against god!" Don't know shit. Homosexuals WERE in the original bible, but were REMOVED because of homophobes. >.> But chances of you finding one of them are next to nil unless your great-great-grandma had left one locked away in her attic somewhere.
